According to the minister, the responsibility to save fuel does not lies with the government along, rather it is a shared duty of everyone to support in this hour of need. He reiterated the Delhi government’s advisory encouraging people to adopt work-from-home wherever possible and make greater use of public transport like the metro rail, Delhi Transport Corporation buses, carpooling, and electric vehicles to reduce the fuel consumption and also reduce traffic congestion.

He stated that several traders and industrialists in the national capital have expressed their commitment to implementing work from home, and also electric vehicle policies.
In keeping with the word, Mishra drove an electric car to the Delhi Secretariat, sending out the message of fuel conservation and adopting clean transportation.
The labour minister said an advisory from the government has also been issued to the Labour Department which was discussed with several traders and industrialists in the national capital regarding the measures.
He claimed that the people are voluntarily standing in support of the PM’s appeal and are implementing work from home and electric vehicle policies.
Mishra remarked that energy conservation is a national responsibility under the current global circumstances. “The Delhi government remains committed to advancing public participation-based campaigns for clean energy, green transportation, and environmental conservation,” he added.
